A brilliant 101 not out from 78 balls from Nadeem led the Exiles to a 46 run win against Karnataka at the Joseph Hood Rec on Sunday.
After the loss of 2 early wickets, a partnership of 56 between Hasan and Nadeem took the Exiles to 68 for 2, before 4 quick wickets saw Exiles teetering on 108 for 6.
From there Nadeem took over in typically belligerent fashion, supported by KK and Haris – on debut. Exiles closed on 203 for 8 off their 35 overs, Nadeem retiring on 101 not out.
Exiles continued their recent consistent bowling performances with another afternoon where wickets were shared – with 2 each for Zia, Safi, Shahid and Hasan. Karnataka were bowled out off the penultimate ball for 157. John took 4 catches behind the stumps in addition to a run out contribution.
