Energy Exiles met the Treasury for the first time in a 20 over friendly at Regents Park.

After losing two early wickets, the rest of the Exiles batsmen dominated the Treasury attack mounting up 137 for the loss of one further wicket. Jon Taylor, Mark Bradshaw and Keith Roberts all made 28 retired. However, the most enterprising batting came from Luke Butler in a brutal unbeaten 27.

An inexperienced Treasury batting order made little impression on a difficult pitch in ever worsening light. Despite several catches being dropped, the Treasury were quickly tumbled out for 53. Stuart Devlin particularly enjoyed himself, taking 4 for 5 in three overs, and for this performance wins the man of the match award.
