A fantastic 125 from skipper Shahid led the Exiles to a comfortable 61 run victory over Karnataka at Morden Rec.
Exiles batted first and raced to 55 before a low one accounted for Keith. With support from Ajmal and Yahya, Shahid flew to a terrific 72 ball hundred, with ultimately 16 boundaries and 7 maximums.
From 184 for 3, the Exiles collapsed however to 198 all out in 32.2 overs.
But Naren Patel sent the stumps cartwheeling three times early in Karnataka's response as the Exiles took control. Despite some casual drops, 2 wickets for Phil and 2 run outs for Keith ensured Exiles cruised to a 61 run victory.
New opposition next week in Alleyn cricket club in Dulwich.
