Just a day before when UK hit 40c for the first time, it was hot and sunny day.

Fortunately Exiles captain Jonny won the toss and elected to bat first. Ansar and Ajmal opened the innings for the Exiles and gave the Exiles a 50 odd run partnership for the first wicket before at the score of 52 Exiles lost their 1st wicket when Ajmal was out for 18;

Meanwhile, just an over later, the ball was lost in bushes and Wimbledon had to bowl with a used ball - which wasn’t very good for batters - as the pitch was a bit soft and dusty and the ball wasn’t coming on to the bat. Exiles lost 4 quick wickets at the score of 80.

On the other hand, Prasanth was playing well and gave some resistance, although when the score was 113 Exiles lost their 6th wicket. Wingfield then joined Prasanth and put a handy 60 run partnership. After the dismissals of Prasanth (55) and Wingfield (31), Yahya came to bat and hit a couple of handy sixes. Exiles ended their innings on 207/9 in 35 overs.

Exiles started the 2nd half very aggressively as Yahya bowled an opponent opener first ball, whilst on the other side Siyar bowled economically giving only 12 runs away and getting 1 wicket in his 6 overs. The rest of the Wimbledon United batsman showed some resistance and got a big partnership and tried to take the game away from Exiles before Ajmal and Wingfield came on to bowl and shared 6 wickets between them, with Ajmal taking 4 for 17 and Wingfield 2 for 18, to restrict Wimbledon United for 157 all out.
