The following day saw Exiles collapse to 52 for 6 against CYPOS, before a counter-attacking David Stiffell got us out of trouble with a hard-hit 29. A last wicket partnership of 32 between Martin Thomas (10no) and Mark Bradshaw (77no) ensured we made a respectable total of 164 for 9.
However, this proved nowhere enough despite Exiles' strong bowling attack, which started poorly against some very good CYPOS batting. Despite the valiant efforts of veteran Barrington Fitzgerald (who took 2 for 23), we lost easily by seven wickets.
