The Exiles were in excellent form as they took on a very strong Strollers side and did much of the hard work as Chamberlain (4 for 9), Palao (3 for 24), and Cook (2 for 26) bowled out the Strollers for 109 backed up by some excellent catching and ground fielding and a very tight opening spell from Mark Devlin. This was undoubtedly the finest bowling performance I have seen in my eight years with the Energy Exiles.

Taylor (35) and Bradshaw (10) started very brightly, scoring 43 from the first seven overs before Bradshaw edged behind. The Exiles then collapsed against some fast and very accurate bowling from Simon French as only Herrington (12), Creak (10), and Palao (14) made double figures as we went down to a 15 run defeat.
