This was a superb win for a 10-man Exiles who travelled to North London for this very tough fixture against Harrowdene. Owing to the fact that many Exiles players turned up late, Naren Patel had no choice but to bat on winning the toss. All the early Exiles batsmen (Bradshaw 13, Roberts 20, Airey 12) made a start, but none were able to dominate as the Exiles stuttered to 100 for 6. Amil Patel did show some promise though, with an excellent 24. However, the best innings of the day came from Nick Creak who, who stuck it right up the over-confident Harrowdene bowlers with an excellent 65. He received fine support from Quentin Davies (22 not out) to build a seventh wicket stand of over 80. Thanks to some quick running at the end from Davies and Gwyn Thomas, the Exiles finished on 194 for 7.

Jonty Tarbuck quickly bowled both numbers 1 and 3 for a duck a piece, thus demonstrating the virtues of bowling "fast and straight' (virtues much extolled by the author of these reports). Nick Creak on the other hand dismissed the other opening batsman through a full-toss. This left the Harrowdene innings in a mess at 5 for 3. However, Harrowdene's Kiwi all-rounder played some very strong drives to see Creak out of the attack. Naren Patel introduced himself and made the vital breakthrough dismissing the hard-hitting Kiwi. The Exiles then whittled through the Harrowdene innings dismissing them for 103. Jonty Tarbuck took three wickets, Naren Patel took two, and Gwyn Thomas and Quentin Davies one apiece. Nick "Streak" finished with three wickets; two full tosses and another hit-wicket.

Man of the match was Nick Creak for his 65 and three wickets.
