Once again comprehensively beaten by the Strollers. A story of dropped catches allowed the opponents to amass a total of over 250 in 40 overs. On winning the toss Exiles elected to field first. Strollers got of to a brisk start with both Andy and Naren conceding around 5 runs an over in the first 6 overs. After 3 overs Naren got into his normal rhythm and troubled both the batsmen without having much luck. One of the openers tried to take a few steps and hit Naren over the top but seeing him charge Naren dropped a short one which he nicked to the keeper but was dropped behind the stumps. However, the next ball was firmly hit to square leg and was brilliantly caught by Charnaud. Strollers number 3 batsman made a tentative start and edged one to slip was dropped on 0 who went on to make 30. Naren was replaced by JPJ who bowled well and regularly beating the bat without much luck. JPJ bowled his quota of 8 for 28 runs but no wickets. In the absence of many regulars some part time bowlers were called upon to bowl resulting in 65 runs from 8 overs. They ended up with a total of 251.

Facing the task of getting 252 for a win the Exiles openers Keith an Q started well with scoring 4 runs an over but it all came abruptly to an end when Q was bowled for 20. JPJ continued to keep the run rate and showed some urgency to get moving but perished in the process for 32. Jasper followed quickly without scoring. Suddenly we found ourselves from 83 for 1 from 21 overs to less than 100 for 3 from 27 overs. After Jasper's departure Wil joined Keith and decided to shut the shop and saw Exiles to 151 for 3.
