Having failed to chase small totals in previous encounters with the Strollers, Exiles, on winning the toss, decided to bat first hoping to defend a total rather then chase.

Wil and Q opened the batting with both of them playing comfortably on a good track and it all looked promising until a mix up in calling led to both of them getting stranded in the same crease. Q was run out for 5 and Exiles were 11 for 1 in the 5th over.

Amil joined Wil and both showed urgency right from the start in keeping the score moving until Wil was caught for 23 going for a big hit and Exiles were 83 for 1 after 20 overs. Tom and Amil continued to bat sensibly until Amil played on and was bowled for 35. Tom and Pablo quickly followed Amil to the pavilion for 12 and 13 and the Exiles lost their way. It all now depended upon the Champion cricketer to pull the Exiles out of this hole to give some respectability to the score, however, the problem was that the Strollers did not have a spinner in their ranks and the Champion's limitations were obvious to see. He could only muster up a whopping 4 runs having faced 13 balls. The Exiles were all out for a disappointing 130.

The Strollers knocked of the runs in 28 overs with the loss of 4 wickets.

The batting scores and balls faced do not add up ... oops.
