Following the disappointing cancellation of the Exiles’ fixture with the Castle Bytham “water-babies” the previous day, the tour travelled south to Uffington. In gloomy and damp conditions,
Uffington won the toss and batted. In 11.3 overs, Uffington reached 38 for 1 before the heavens opened and the match was abandoned. The main features of the game were a wicket to Nick Creak, a superb diving stop by Luke Butler, and Dave Hawes and Dom Herrington finally getting to play some cricket.
