The Exiles completed their fourth straight victory with a comprhensive 62 run victory over Wealdstone Corinthians. Andy Wingfield, guesting as skipper for Mark, won the toss and elected to bat on an overcast day, but with a rock hard looking pitch.

Exiles reached 169 for 7 from their 40 overs against some accurate and displined Corinthians bowling. Jon Taylor was the mainstay - hitting 38, but at a slower rate (59 balls) than his usual free-scoring self. His innings was complimented by pacier knocks of 36 from the guesting Richard Abigail (who was out to a blinding catch right on the square leg boundary), 26 from Quentin Davies and 29 from Sam Scott.

If the game was in the balance at tea, it was seemingly conclusively decided in the first few overs of the Corinthians innings. Wingfield bowled a tidy opening spell (5-1-11-0) but Simon Gundry's opening spell (5-5-0-3) ripped the heart out of the opposition and with Martin Thomas also striking early in his spell, the Corinthians efforts were surely doomed to failure at 20 for 4 off 16 overs. However, a few big hits and a couple of dropped chances - most notably off the unfortunate Thomas - almost allowed the Corinthians back into the game. With 70 needed off the final 10 overs, with 3 wickets left, Wingfield returned to pick up the wicket of oppositions top scorer for 48, Gundry continued where he left off with another sensationally meagre spell (2-2-0-1) and Naren Patel finished things off with the final wicket, using his vast experience to help himself to excellent figures (5.3-2-8-2).

Man-of-the-match for superb, record breaking, bowling analyses (7-7-0-4) was Simon Gundry.
