Exiles lost for the second time this season – this time by 4 wickets to Streatham & Marlborough at Abbey Rec.
Exiles batted first and started well – reaching 63 without loss as Ansar continued his good form with 44, and then also reached 95 for 2 before the rest of the innings collapsed to 125 all out.
It was never enough despite a spirited bowling effort with 2 wickets for Liam opening and 2 wickets for Ansar at the end.

Naren took 4 for 21 to seal another Exiles win – this time by 38 runs at Old Ruts.
Exiles batted first an provided a mixed bag in reaching 164 for 8 from their 40 overs with Shahid making 31 and debutant Tariq 48.
Ansar struck 3 times early to put the Exiles firmly on top, and Naren with his 4 wickets ensured the Exiles another win.

A superb maiden Exiles hundred from Bilal Musakhel helped Exiles to a 100 run win against new opposition Brockley Nomads.
Batting first Exiles powered their way to 252 for 6 from their 40 overs thanks to 63 from Ansar and an exact 100 not out from Bilal in a partnership of 86 for the second wicket with new skipper Shahid (26) accompanying Bilal in a partnership of 72 straight away afterwards.
Exiles used 9 bowlers in response – and all bowled solidly with wickets shared round and Brockley were never really in the running, bowled out for 156 in 33.5 overs.

Exiles picked up their 3rd win of the season – with a superb 4 wicket win away at the pleasant environs of Sheen Common against new opposition Sheen Park.
On losing the toss, portents didn’t look good as a few early shots raced to the boundary, but the Exiles openers – Ansar and Masie both found breakthroughs, and the subsequent Exiles bowlers all mainly bowled excellently to restrict the home side to only 140 for 8 off their 35. Ansar returning 2 for 33 and skipper Bernard 2 for 11.
Ansar (49) and Keith (41) put on a fine 69 for the first wicket as Exiles started their chase in decent fashion before a regular flurry of wickets threatened to allow Sheen back into the match. However Andy remained solid and Masie provided a quick flourish to take the Exiles home.
This was a really good team performance and continues the good start to 2022. Next match is not expected to be until 12 June at Abbey Rec against Streatham & Marlborough.
