Profile
Bernard joined the club in 2014 and the easy going South African quickly impressed - perhaps even suprising himself along the way - to over 1,400 runs at over 37 at the end of the 2017 season, scoring his runs at a strike rate of over 100.
A keen tennis player, his languid style with the bat has proved deceptive to many opposition bowling sides as Bernard has clubbed his way to 2 hundreds for the club so far - 136no against Ploughmans in 2016 and 111no against Merton in 2017.
Bernard has also proved a very effective change bowler - rapidly earning the repuation amongst his Exiles team-mates as 'golden arm' as he's picked up 51 wickets at 19 at an incredible strike rate of only 21.
After a near miss in 2016, Bernard finally won the club batting trophy in 2017, bravely deciding not to play in the last fixture.
