Profile
An accurate and dependable opening bowler, who brings "nous" to the attack, Phil is a good fielder and late-middle order striker of the ball. Given the "history" Phil had with several Exiles in our epic encounters with DCMS, we were very surprised he wanted to join us, but now he is in our team he seems a much nicer chap.
The true test though will be later this year when he will tour with the Exiles for the first time. He assures us he is renowned for his "touring" ability, as demonstrated by his fifth place in a Miss Pontins competition in Great Yarmouth in 1997...! We suspect that the cricket played on tour may be of a secondary importance to Phil...!
