On Sunday Exiles met with their old rivals Agricola. The toss was once again lost, which has become a normal thing for the skipper and Agricola chose to bat first.

The opposition got of to a good start with only Ahmed getting a wicket off his opening spell. They continued to chip away with way too many singles being gifted by the Exiles to finally bring the score to 219 for 6.

Note has to be given to Emil who bowled a very tidy 7 overs, although the figures that were extensively discussed between John and Emil over tea doesn't necessarily show it.

The Exiles went in to bat with quite a mountain to climb and soon found themselves 2 wickets down with Pattiyil and Safi trying to steady the ship. This lasted for a bit and after Pattiyil was dismissed Leuvennink top scoring with 35 runs also looked to be in decent enough stride before being caught off a top edge.

The rest of the Exiles couldn't add to much to the score and were all out for 119.

Batting and give away singles let the Exiles down on this occasion, but so you learn as Agricola were safely home with a 101 run win.
