The tour to South Lincolnshire began brightly as “Matthew” Cook (4 for 18) reduced a strong Castle Bytham side to 29 for 4. However, dropped catches cost the Exiles dear as Bytham recovered to 96 for 7 from their allotted 20 overs.
In reply, the Exiles collapsed from 64 for no loss to 86 for 8 (C Bunton – first ball duck) to lose by 10 runs, Mark Bradshaw top-scoring against his old team with 41.
