Agricola beat Exiles by 24 runs at Nursery Road on Sunday in a game where both sides barely had 9 players.

Agricola batted first and made 180/5 thanks mainly to a hard-hit 65 from no 6 White, with skipper-for-the-day Steve Parkinson taking 3 for 15 for the Exiles – with 3 fine scalps of Almond, Thody and White.

Another fifty from Keith Roberts (57) and contributions from Leuvennink (34) and Zieleniewski (36) saw Exiles well-placed in the chase on 146/3 but a late flurry of wickets saw the Exiles fall just short on 156.

A brave effort on a week of poor availability. A first trip to Magdalen awaits next week.
