Energy Exiles inconsistent start to the season continued with a disappointing defeat to Stroke Makers CC.

On winning the toss and electing to bat, Exiles could only muster 112 for 9 off their 35 overs – with only Mark Bradshaw (25) passing 20.

The Stroke Makers cruised home in only 14.3 overs – with only the returning Keith Roberts (2 for 21) making any real impact.

Next up is a tough-looking trip to the John Innes Rec to play Merton.
